Orthographic variants

The New Grammar of the Spanish Language does not consider morphological irregularities the orthographic variants that obey certain systematic rules of application in the Spanish language. The classification presented groups the verbs that change their conjugation for orthographic reasons. Some of the verbs included in these groups are considered by some of the sources consulted as regular when they do not have another type of additional irregularity in their conjugation. These groupings can help to better understand the application of the orthographic rules of Spanish and, specifically, its application to the conjugation of verbs.
